How to extract 7z file in Linux
A file with 7z extension is compressed with 7-Zip format. p7zip is a tool you can use to extract 7z files in Linux and is available for most Linux systems such as Ubuntu or Red Hat variance. p7zip can easily be installed at the terminal using the distribution's default package manager.
p7zip integrates nicely with default file managers such Files for GNOME or Dolphin for KDE. You can open or extract 7z files in Linux directly from most default file managers once p7zip is installed. You can also use 7z command at the terminal.
Steps to extract 7-Zip file in Linux:

Launch terminal application.

Install p7zip (optional, if not already installed).
