Network Discovery enables your Windows computer to find other computers in the same network. This, among other things, allows you to access shared folders and printers in your local area network.

You can enable or disable Network Discovery feature in Windows 11 from the Control Panel, and it need to be configured separetely for all network profiles.

Steps to enable or disable Network Discovery in Windows 11:

  1. Open Control Panel's advanced sharing settings page from Windows search bar.
  2. Select the network profile that you want to configure.
  3. Click on the radio button to turn network discovery on or off.
  4. Click on the Save changes button to apply the setting.
